This new link coupled with the construction of the Bryne Drive Extension adds significant traffic capacity to the City's transportation network. This system will serve as an alternative to Mapleview Drive and Essa Road for those looking to make east-west inner-City trips across Highway 400. This project was based on past City TMPs and an area specific master plan to improve transportation operations in this area as well as support area development.
