The Dunlop Street reconstruction project implemented a new flexible streetscape that allows for parking or wide sidewalks depending on the time of year and the desire of the individual businesses. This project has significantly improved the walkability and public realm of the City's historic downtown. This project also features textured intersections to improve visibility and slow traffic. This is an example of a project that integrated transportation design with land use to develop a contextually appropriate solution.
