Consultation has concluded
The City is working to develop the Bright Futures Barrie strategy. Once developed, the strategy will provide activities to individuals 6 to 26 years old in Barrie that strengthen community bonds and employment prospects, support success at school, and promote pro-social activities such as sports, arts and culture.
Community Engagement
The City is collecting community feedback on the needs of children, young adults and youth in Barrie through a community survey. Community members are encouraged to complete the survey by Monday, July 31, 2023. The survey is available in French upon request.
Results of the survey and other forms of community engagement throughout the project will help identify gaps and inform recommendations to support the development of the Bright Futures Barrie strategy.
